Who Can Havea Baby at Home? |
In the United Kingdom, it is every woman's legal right to give birth at home. The local Supervisor of midwives is obliged to provide midwifery care for you within the National Health Service. There are some possible contra-indications to home birth, but providing that pregnancy and labour are normal (of which 75% are) there is no reason to show that having a baby in hospital is safer than having it at home. |
